Famously easy to grow, this beautiful Italian heirloom provides masses of long cylindrical green and cream fruit with firm flavorful greenish-cream flesh and does well in short and cool summers. Best eaten when small (1” diameter). Harvest daily. Bonus: edible squash blossoms!
Sow directly in garden after last frost and soil has warmed to at least about 60℉. Plant in hills (6 seeds/hill) for optimal drainage and productivity (6-8” high, 3-6’ apart). Thin seedlings to 3/hill.
