This compact heirloom lettuce has tongue shaped succulent outer leaves with a crisp bright flavor. Handed down through generations as a lettuce that is slow to bolt and does not get bitter.
Cool season crop. Direct seed outside when soil can be worked in spring, soil temperature 35-45 ℉. Plant 1/4" deep, 2" apart, thin when leaves touch.
