Tips
Brilliant magenta flowers against soft, felted silver-grey foliage. A show stopper perennial native to northern Europe that blooms June-August starting in year 2. They look spectacular in solid plantings. Grows to 3' tall. Naturalizes readily. Valued homeopathic medicinal. Wonderful plant for the permaculture, polyculture and homestead garden.
Either start indoors 8 weeks before transplanting or seed directly into garden after last frost. Likes average, well-draining soil and full sun. Thin to 6-8" apart. Drought tolerant. Easily self-seeds.
