Bright yellow skin with pale yellow meat that forks into “spaghetti” strings when cooked. Makes a tasty and nutritional alternative to traditional pasta. Easy to grow and fun to eat. Ours grow to 3-5 lb oblong squash.
Bonus: edible squash blossoms!
Direct sow outside after last frost, when soil temp is at least 60°F Plant in rows 1" deep, 3" apart, thin to 4' apart; or plant in hills 6 seeds per hill, thinning to 3 plants per hill. Can be started indoors, provided roots are not disturbed during transplanting.
